Today, healthcare is more promising and, at the same time, more complicated. Access to needed care can be difficult and costs continue to rise. This is especially true for those individuals who are considered "high risk" because of their medical conditions. These individuals may not be able to obtain adequate coverage, and are often asked to pay high premiums for minimum protection.

No one is better able to address these challenges than Blue Cross of California. As part of California's contracted MRMIP program, we offer subsidized coverage to qualified high-risk applicants. Using our experience and resources, we are able to provide comprehensive medical coverage to individuals who may have limited options. Because the state restricts membership into this program, applicants may be placed on a waiting list.
