The Access for Infants and Mothers (AIM) Program is a low-cost comprehensive health plan for pregnant women and their newborns sponsored by the State of California. It is designed for families in the middle-income bracket who don't have health insurance, but whose income is high enough to disqualify them for Medi-Cal benefits. It is also available to those who have healthcare coverage, but who have a maternity-only deductible or co-payment of more than $500. Blue Cross contracts with AIM to deliver care to eligible members through our PPO or HMO, depending upon the member's geographic location. Visit the AIM web site for detailed information on program services, eligibility information and enrollment instructions. An income chart is available to help prospective members determine their eligibility. By following the step-by-step instructions enrollment can be submitted electronically with an on-line application. A list of phone numbers is provided for any additional questions. Please note: |
